The missing week recap.
Updates about the missing week....
Did you miss me?
Last week was a festive week.
I couldn’t manage to write or keep a scheduled post ready to send across.
Extremely sorry.
But this also wants me to remind you that, even if you fail, that does not mean you should give up. It just means you need to try a little better and harder.
I came across Leila Hormozi’s very amazing quote last weekend.
“We have a misconception that we need to be ready before we act, but its actually the other way round. We need to act in order to reach the clarity.”
And this quote just doesn't seem to get out of my mind. Somehow, it motivated me to get back to my goals and dreams with a new positive energy and work twice as hard.
Last week was quite a productive one.
Also, before we go ahead, I have written another newsletter for my art venture, which is also equally valuable. You can read and subscribe to it here.
I have been reworking my website and website copy, re-strategizing my niche and content.
I also finished reading this amazing book called “Don’t Sweat the Small Stuff” by Richard Carlson.
I will be re-reading it every day, and I earnestly suggest you buy this book and read it every single day of your life.
This book just helped rewire my brain and calmed me down. I am practicing to be more patient, be a good listener, and detach myself from things that are not in my control.
Most importantly, it has been helping me to stay positive and has some impact on my overthinking (a little). Perhaps, it also needs consistent practice.
This is why I said this book needs to be read by everyone, every day. It just needs 2 to 5 minutes to read the short chapters that really help you shape your perspective and you as a human in a very different way.
I have talked about this earlier, and I will never get tired of the fact how much books have really helped me shape my perspective in a better way. I feel different around my circle because I have a different way of looking at things, and I am a little more understanding now.
Reading books not only helps you improve your language and vocabulary, but it also shapes you as a human in a lot of ways. Reading good books really turns you into a completely different person altogether. But starting with reading anything that you enjoy is okay.
Let’s normalize reading fiction books, too.
On an honest note, I started my reading journey with fiction, and today, I hardly have time to read fiction because all I read is self-improvement and business—related books.
(Fun fact: My current fav fiction writer is Fredrick Backman— and I absolutely am in love with his writing style. You should read “A Man Called Ove.” It has my heart.”
I am soon going to come up with some better newsletters that will not only help you as a person but also help you in your business or anything that you are trying to build.
When one decides to build a life that will eventually give them freedom, the first thing one needs to work on is the mindset; the inner work is the most important one.
And, even though this realization did hit me years ago, somehow I have only managed to put it into action very recently.
Why?
Let me play a little here and leave you curious.
Because I am going to come up with something amazing that you are going to love it.
Tell me your current reads and your favorite book of all time. Let’s keep this a 2 way conversation.
Stay Tuned.
