I regret this one big time...

From “Loser” to Legacy: What Consistency Just Taught Me

Hey you,

I have a confession to make.

For a long time, I’ve felt like a loser.
Not because I lack talent or skill — I have plenty of both.
But because I kept letting "what will people say?" dictate my every move.
Because I kept breaking promises I made to myself.
Because I kept complaining about my circumstances…
…and rarely did the hard, uncomfortable thing of going against the odds to change them.

Lately, this truth has hit me like a ton of bricks:
My downfall has been mine.
Not theirs. Not the market.
Mine.

But here's the plot twist.

I recently completed a 12-day watercolor challenge on my Instagram Page.
And it taught me something powerful:

The cost of consistency is results.

It didn’t lead to a viral reel or thousands of followers.
But it gave me something better: clarity.
It showed me that growth is not about overnight success — it's about tiny, intentional steps that compound.
Like going to the gym, eating clean, showing up when it's hard, and doing the reps, even when nobody’s watching.

 Consistency + pain = results.

And that’s what I’ve been missing.

The problem isn't that I can’t land clients or build a career around my art or copywriting.
It’s that I’ve failed to show up consistently enough to build trust.

Think of it this way:

Would you hire a gym trainer who’s never lifted weights and eats junk daily?
No, right?

Because people don’t buy potential — they buy proof.
Proof that you can show up.
Proof that you’re in it for real.
Proof that your story isn’t just talk — it’s lived.

So if you're someone who feels stuck, unseen, or a little "behind," hear me out:

Start documenting your journey.

Share your loser phase, the breakdowns, the rejections, the failed launches. Tell people what you're learning and how you're solving problems — even if it’s just for yourself.

This is how personal brands are built today.
Not by pretending to have it all figured out — but by showing others that you’re figuring it out anyway.

I’ve failed to do that in the past.
I gave up too soon, switched paths too fast, and expected quick returns.
But not anymore.

This 12-day challenge reminded me:
The journey starts with showing up, not with being perfect.

So take that one minor step today.
Post your sketch. Write that caption. Share your messy middle.
You’ll thank yourself years down the line for not giving up.

And if you're still reading this, thank you for being here.
Let’s walk this journey together.

Signing off for now, see you next Wednesday.
